Motive is a partnership between two Sudanese women’s organizatiohns, the gender centre for research and training, salmmah centre, and two international organizations, panos-sudan and Cordaid. The organization was set up with the objective of putting the resources , capacities and the spirit of the four founding organizations together so as to work more effectively , have a wider outreach and increase their impacts on violence against women and mainstreaming gender.

Workshop on Press Law and Media Freedom in Sudan
On Monday 31 December 2007at Mohamed Abdulhay Conference Room, Teeba Press- Khartoum 40 Participants, Includes 25 journalists from 15 media organizations, 4 lawyers, 7 Activists from Different NGOs, 3 University Lectures, One MP representing The Committee of Information, Culture and Tourism in the National Assembly had been invited to attend a Workshop on Press Law and Media Freedom in Sudan conducted jointly by Motive through (Panos-Sudan) in Collaboration with Teeba Press)
